BRIMACOMBE’S POUTINE DRIVE-THRU CONTINUES THIS FRYDAY!

ORONO, Ont. – With the recent success of their Poutine Drive-Thru, Brimacombe has decided to continue to offer take-out food services to the local community this Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30.

“With two days’ notice, we were forced to shut down the ski resort in December,” says Mark Rutherford, General Manager of Brimacombe. “We had freezers full of fries, hamburgers and hotdogs, so we came up with an idea to pivot into a fast-food takeout service to serve our famous poutine to our local residents in the area.”

After receiving an overwhelming amount of local community support for their first Poutine Drive-Thru, Brimacombe expanded their take-out menu to include poutine, fries, chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs, drinks (both hot and cold), sweet treats and some Brimacombe merchandise. Plus, this week, Brimacombe has partnered up with local businesses to offer a unique opportunity to support multiple local businesses in one trip by adding on items to their order chosen from Bragg Farms (Bowmanville) and Walsh’s The Snug (Newcastle).

Ordering is easy – simply place your order online in advance through Brimacombe’s Poutine Drive-Thru Order form found on their website, bring your order number at your designated pick-up time, follow our drive-thru route when arriving at Brimacombe to pick up your order curbside, then assemble at home just in time for lunch or dinner!

Visit www.brimacombe.ca to find Brimacombe’s Poutine Drive-Thru order form. Orders are online in advance only and quantities are limited! Pick-up times are available every 10 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Brimacombe kindly asks guests that food is picked up and taken home in line with Ontario’s Stay-At-Home orders. Outdoor seating and/or exploration of the property will not be available.

As a not-for-profit organization, every dollar spent at Brimacombe is invested back into the facility and helps directly support our operations during these uncertain times.
