An ability level is a short way of classifying skiers and snowboarders based on skills, skiing and boarding ability, and how well they ski or board beginner, intermediate, or advanced trails. Knowing what your ability level is often necessary when purchasing a lesson.

Knowing your skiing or snowboarding ability level will also make sure that you get the most out of your lesson.
