Blowout Sale & Ski/Board Swap – OCTOBER 22 & 23

Ticket sales open Thursday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m.
Tickets are $1+hst each and must be purchased in advance online for EACH family member attending to reserve your shopping timeslot.
All proceeds will be donated to Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) – Durham program.

Sell your old equipment. Buy something new (or new-ish)!
Whether you’re looking for a deal on brand new equipment we’ve carried over from last season, or you’re searching for the right size used equipment, we’ll have a great selection of new & pre-owned skis, boards, boots, outerwear, accessories and more.
No experience fitting equipment? No problem! We will have volunteers and team members from Slopeside Skis & Boards on-site to answer all the questions you might have.

EQUIPMENT DROP OFF
Register each item for $2 per item (MEMBER PERK – Brimacombe Members get 50% off equipment registration fees!). You set the price, but we will have someone on site to help you price your item. Please note, items must be in good condition and not more than 10 years of age. Brimacombe reserves the right to turn away equipment. Helmets, cross-country skis and clothing are not accepted. Equipment will not be accepted on the day of the swap or outside of the drop off dates listed below.
DROP OFF DATES:
Wednesday, October 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sales Commission: Brimacombe retains 25% of each sale if you take your payout in cheque/etransfer OR Brimacombe retains 15% of each sale if you take your payout in the form of a Brimacombe Gift Card
SHOPPING DAYS (TICKETS REQUIRED)
Tickets must be purchased in advance online to reserve your shopping timeslot. Tickets go on sale online on Thursday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m.. Tickets may be available at the door, based on availability.
Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $1+hst each and must be purchased in advance for EACH family member attending (for example, 4 family members would need to purchase 4 tickets). All proceeds will be donated to Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) – Durham program.
UNSOLD EQUIPMENT/MONEY PICK UP
Please note, unlike previous years, equipment and sales from equipment cannot be picked up during the sale. Please see pick up days below.
Monday, October 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Equipment not claimed by Monday, October 31, 2022 will be forfeited and considered a donation to the Oshawa Ski Club o/a Brimacombe.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Brimacombe team is currently seeking volunteers to help with our annual Blowout Sale and Ski/Board Swap on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 at Brimacombe (4098 Durham Road 9, Orono, ON L0B1M0). Shifts will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
High School Students may be eligible to claim community involvement hours (students are strongly encouraged to verify with their school that the activity will count towards completion of their 40 hours).
