Operational Update: January 30, 2022
Since the start of the pandemic, we continue to make decisions in the best interest of our organization and to protect our ability to offer our core services – skiing and snowboarding – to our Members, Season Passholders and guests.
On January 31, Ontario will move into the first step of the most recent reopening plan. While indoor dining restrictions will be lifted, Brimacombe has made the decision to keep our indoor dining closed. This decision will be assessed on a bi-weekly basis based on current COVID-19 data available to us, as well as staffing availability.
From the start of the season, we, like many other businesses, have been facing staffing shortages and while we recognize how our chalets add to the skiing and snowboarding experience, we simply cannot put further strain on our staffing.
Take-out food services will continue to be offered at the East Chalet, as well as a 20-minute warming area in the lower chalet (no food or drink in this area). Please note, our vaccination policy is in effect for both the West and East Chalet.
Thank you to all of our Members, Season Passholders and guests who continue to be considerate of others while on the slopes by respecting our COVID policies and our employees. We look forward to continuing to help create more special memories with your family and friends on the slopes this season!
Brimacombe has taken a number of steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 while working to maintain our core services. We’re continuously monitoring information about COVID-19 from government and public health authorities, and will make decisions about services, programs, and facilities with the health and safety of our guests and employees in mind.
