Brimacombe is Set to Re-open Tuesday, February 16!

As most of Ontario returns back to the colour-coded framework next week, we are excited to announce that Brimacombe will be resuming the 2020-21 season and re-opening for skiing and snowboarding on Tuesday, February 16!

Starting February 16, we will be operating under the following Hours of Operation (snow conditions permitting, as always):
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please note, the set hours of operation for the 2020-21 season schedule included being closed on Tuesdays, however at this time, we have decided to add Tuesday back to our operational schedule.

Just like in December, reservations will be required for visits this season for all Members, Season Passholders and guests. An email will be sent Wednesday, February 10 at noon (*UPDATE* Please note, the reservation system for Members & Season Passholders will be open at 1:00 p.m. EST. We are working closely with our developers and apologize in advance for the delay. Please stay tuned for further updates.) to current Members and Season Passholders via the email provided at time of purchase for your master passholder account, with access to our reservation system to book timeslots for visits on February 16 and onwards. The date for the general public to begin booking lift tickets will be released later this week. In order to be on Brimacombe property, you must have a reservation. To allow for proper physical distancing, only those with a lift ticket and/or reservations will able to be on the property. Spectators will not be admitted.

To ensure a fair opportunity to all who wish to access the slopes this winter, lift ticket reservations will be a maximum 4-hour timeslots from your booked arrival time for everyone. Lift tickets shorter than 4 hours will also be available at the end of day but will not be extended past our closing time of 9:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday or 4:30 p.m. on Sundays – for example, if you book 1:50 p.m. as your arrival time on Sunday, your lift ticket will end at 4:30 p.m. Parking lot 1 will always follow Sunday rules as the west property closes at 4:30 p.m.

At the beginning of the season, we made changes to some of our operations to prioritize physical distance, increased sanitization, and reducing the number of touch points. These changes will continue to be in place for our re-opening. If you haven't already, please familiarize yourself with our Re-Opening Plan, to know what to expect at Brimacombe.

These operations are subject to change without notice, in accordance with guidelines provided by the Government and Public Health. We are committed to keeping our guests and members informed on any operational changes now and throughout the season, so please keep a close eye on our website, social media and sign up for our Eblast to stay in the know!

We realize this season has been incredibly unique for everyone and we appreciate your support during this time. Whether you purchased a gift card, participated in our Poutine Drive-Thru, or even made a purchase from our retail store during the lockdown, all of the revenue made during this time, and at any time at Brimacombe, is directly invested back into the facility and our operations as a not-for-profit organization and even with the support with some available grants, we still couldn’t do it without you!

While this season has looked different than what we expected, please know that winter is not over here in Ontario and there is still lots of time to enjoy the awesome conditions we have on the slopes this season.

Health and safety is everyone's responsibility. If you're joining us on the slopes this season, please follow
Brimacombe's Health Guidelines.

Don’t be the reason we lose (the rest of) our season!
