Operational Update For Saturday, January 25, 2025

Back to All Posts

UPDATE: Saturday, January 25 at 12:30 p.m. – Main Street is now open and loading!

Last night (Friday, January 24), Brimacombe experienced a fault in our primary electrical system, affecting a portion of our property and requiring the closure of both the Main Street and Boulevard chairlifts.

At this time, Main Street Chair and Boulevard Chair remain closed as we continue to work towards resolving the issue. As a result of this lift closure, all runs east of Standard run  remain closed with the exception of Piggy Bank Terrain Park, which will be open for hike access only. Standard run is open, as well as many runs to the west. Please see our Snow Conditions and Trail Report for a complete list of what runs are open.

Bowl Chair, West Chair and Magic Carpet as well as all other services – food services, guest services, retail and rentals will be available on the east side. Please note, there is still a water supply disruption at the West Chalet (unrelated to last night’s electrical issue) and will be open with limited food services and no washroom access (portable washrooms are available outside). Indoor storage and seating is still available.

Parking lots 1, 2 & 4 remain open.

We are continuing to work to resolve this problem and hope to have the electrical system fault fixed and these chairs running as quickly as possible.

Reminder that all Multi-Week Group and Private Lesson Programs for Saturday, January 25 have been postponed. Lesson Programs for Saturday participants will resume Saturday, February 1 and be extended by a week to March 8, 2025.

If you have a single daily private lesson booked, we will reach out to you to discuss your individual lesson expectations and terrain needs to determine if you would like to attend your lesson as planned or reschedule.
